3. Fried Foods
Fried foods, at least the way we cook them in America, can be dangerous for the heart. Frying foods is cooking foods which are already high in fat in even more fat.
It’s common for restaurants and fast food places to reuse their frying oil over and over but each time they do so the fat is actually becoming increasingly saturated. Trans fats are usually found in these fried foods as well. Cooking with olive-oil instead will greatly reduce the heart problems associated with eating these fried foods. Overall baking and roasting are much more heart health conscious choices for cooking.
